The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware provides a safe, affordable “home away from home” to families of seriously or chronically ill or injured children who are being treated at area hospitals and operates 3 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across Delaware.
The House is a place where families can stay together and receive the kind of special care they need at such difficult times. Families find a bit of comfort and peace and a hot evening meal after a long day at the Hospital.
We at Asperger's Alliance strongly believe in giving back to our community and could not be more excited about the opportunity to spend the afternoon preparing dinner for the children receiving treatment and families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
Given availability of space and to be sensitive and respectful to the children and families staying at RMHD, there are a limit of 12 spaces available for this activity and participants must be a minimum of 12-years-old. It is recommended that you commit as early as possible to reserve your spot and notify us if your availability changes so someone can participate in your place.
An Email will be sent to the group participating with specifics on July 28th.
