There's a dreaded day looming ahead, one that strikes every year and splits humanity into pieces. Some enjoy this day with the ones they love, others lament the day's existence, and still others just don't acknowledge that the day exists. I am, of course, talking about Valentine's Day. But, this year, Asperger's Alliance is going to shake things up. We have partnered up with BBC Tavern and Grill for a Valentine's Day event that anyone--single or otherwise--can enjoy.
A number of new bartenders have stepped up as guests, including some within our own Asperger's Alliance family!
Guest Bartenders include, Victoria Chang, Colleen Craighton, Dennis Craighton, Jen Durham, Angela Gorman, Ryan Gorman, Jim Holman, Drew Janoson, Heather Mahaffey, Michael Mahaffey, Tanya McDaniels, Chris Perry, Steve Reese, Melissa Rhoads, Michelle Schulte, James Spadola, Leo Sticinski, Art Trout, and Katie White.
During this event, BBC will donate 10% of the dinner bill to Asperger's Alliance if you write "Asperger's Alliance" on the aforementioned bill when you pay. 100% of tips will also go to Asperger's Alliance, and in addition, there will be a contest to see which bartender can raise the most tips!
Bear in mind, however, that this will be determined by how many CHECKS with the bartender's name in the memo line are received. You can bring in these checks yourself, or mail them to 125 Rickey Blvd., #1313, Bear, DE 19701
You'll be hearing more from us in the coming weeks, so stay tuned and spread the word! If you'd like more information, please contact Rebecca Clark at Becky@aspergersalliance.org.
